School meals

In 2026/27 children receive a hot meal once a day. Lunch breaks are 10:20–10:40 and 11:25–11:45. The cost is 2 euros a day, taking the state subsidy (1 euro) into account. FLOSSE OÜ, the catering company, cooks on site, which allows a more varied menu and a wider choice.

Cancelling meals during an absence

If your child is away, tell the class teacher before 10:00 by phone on 5355 3749 or through eKool. The child is then taken off meals from the next day; the current day is still charged.

Extended day group

Meals in the extended day group: please pack food in a container that needs no special storage — but no crisps, sweets, flavoured crackers, sugary juices or fizzy drinks. Eating takes place under a teacher’s supervision at 14:15.

School health care

Health services at the school are provided by Terviseõde OÜ, licence no. L04966.

Schools with fewer than 200 pupils have no medical room; the service is provided at Käo 53, Tallinn, open on Friday 08:00–12:00.

At the start of the year parents are asked to consent to a health check. It is carried out at school in grades 1, 3, 7 and 10, with advance notice to the family. Results are sent to parents through terviseportaal.ee.

For vaccination the nurse must obtain the parent’s written consent in advance. If the family objects, this must be confirmed in writing and recorded on the child’s health card.

There is no point sending a sick child to school: the nurse does not examine, treat, or issue absence certificates. In case of illness, contact your family doctor; advice is available around the clock on 1220.
